Also known as Common eagle ray. Diet: The species largely feeds on crustaceans and bivalve molluscs that it excavates from the seabed. Other items in its diet include polychaete worms, gastropod molluscs, sea pens and small fish.
Max. Size: 183cm. width.
Fun Fact: This species is live bearing with yolk sac. Females give birth to between three and seven pups per litter, after a gestation period of six to eight months.
