Also known as Spotted unicornfish. Diet: Green filamentous algae and gelatinous zooplankton
Max. Size: 60 cm
Fun Fact: The horn-like appendage between the eyes begins growing when a young fish reaches about 13 cm in length, and tends to be a little bigger on males. Scientists are still unsure what the function of the horn is. The sexes are separate and there is evidence of sexual dimorphism in the caudal knives which are relatively larger in males.
